End of the Line for Negreanu

Level 18 : 6,000/12,000, 1,500 ante
Daniel Negreanu
Daniel Negreanu

Daniel Negreanu opened for 24,000 from under the gun before he called a three-bet to 72,000 from Lucio "WizardOfAz" Lima in middle position.

Both players checked after the {4-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{a-Hearts} came on the flop and checked again after the {2-Clubs} came on the turn.

Negreanu then jammed for 146,217 after the {5-Clubs} completed the board on the river and Lima called.

Negreanu turned over {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} for top pair but he was outkicked by Lima who held {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}.

It was yet another WSOP cash this year for Negreanu who officially finished in 86th place for $4,370.

Kyle "Eskimo Bro" Menard: {k-Clubs}{k-Spades}
Galen Hall: {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}

It didn't take long for Menard's kings to get cracked after Hall paired his ace on the {2-Clubs}{a-Spades}{9-Clubs} flop. The {9-Diamonds} paired the board on the turn and Menard was eliminated after failing to get any help with the {8-Clubs} coming down on the river.
