Watson's Sweaty Double

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 0 ante

Jesus Cortes opened to 3,000 under the gun and Mike Watson three-bet to pot from the small blind. Cortes peeled and Watson potted the {5-Hearts}{10-Spades}{q-Diamonds} flop. Cortes shoved for Watson's last 900.

Watson: {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{5-Spades}
Cortes: {a-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{4-Spades}

Watson was in good shape but the {4-Clubs} turn gave Cortes two pair. The Canadian caught back up when the {q-Hearts} river gave him higher two.

Zamani Gets the Right Turn

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 0 ante

Martin Zamani opened to 4,200 on the button and Daniel "RussianBot1" Hindin called in the big blind. Zamani potted the {8-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{4-Spades} flop and Hindin potted right back. Zamani called off for a little less with {k-Clubs}{k-Spades}{6-Spades}{j-Diamonds} for kings and a flush draw and was leading {a-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{q-Spades}{7-Spades}. The {8-Spades} turn locked it up for Zamani.

Chabra Busts Frank

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 0 ante

Ajay "Ross_Geller" Chabra opened to 4,200 second to act and was called by both blinds. Chris "Mangudai" Frank led out for 3,780 on the {9-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{7-Clubs} flop and only Chabra continued. On the {4-Diamonds} turn, Frank potted 20,160 and called off the last few thousand.

Frank: {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}
Chabra: {k-Spades}{10-Hearts}{9-Spades}{7-Diamonds}

Top two was best for Chabra and the {8-Clubs} river didn't change that.

Chen Still Rolling

Level 8 : 500/1,000, 0 ante

James Chen raised to 2,000, Thai Ha made it 7,200 in the cutoff and Jeannette "LaPokerTina" Mendez shoved for 19K in the small blind. Chen shoved covering Ha, who called off for about 17K.

Thai HaHa: {a-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{3-Hearts}
Jeannette "LaPokerTina" Mendez: {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{4-Spades}
James Chen: {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}

It was a nice spot for Chen against a couple of ace-high hands and the kings held as the board ran {2-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{j-Hearts}.
