Bryan Piccioli Eliminated in 23rd Place ($79,625)

Level 20 : 175,000/350,000, 45,000 ante
Bryan Piccioli
Bryan Piccioli

Within two consecutive hands, the entire chip stack of start-of-the-day chip leader Bryan Piccioli has melted and he went from one of the bigger stacks to 23rd place finisher.

In a battle of the blinds, Piccioli raiised to 1,085,000 and Julien Perouse called from the big blind. Piccioli fired the {j-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{6-Spades} flop for 847,000 and the {k-Clubs} turn for 2,072,000, which Perouse called and had 7,378,021 behind.

Piccioli then jammed the {9-Clubs} river and Perouse called with {q-Clubs}{7-Clubs} for a flush, which beat the {k-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} of the American.

In the very next hand, Piccioli jammed the button for 5,928,812 and Benjamin Rolle called from the big blind.

Bryan Piccioli: {a-Diamonds}{7-Spades}
Benjamin Rolle: {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}

The {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{2-Clubs} flop left Piccioli in dire shape and he was drawing dead on the {6-Clubs} turn, which made the {8-Diamonds} river a formality.

Julian Stuer Eliminated in 22nd Place ($79,625)

Level 20 : 175,000/350,000, 45,000 ante
Julian Stuer
Julian Stuer

Stoyan Madanzhiev raised to 770,000 in early position and Julian Stuer called from the big blind. The flop was {8-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{k-Spades} and Stuer check-called 560,000 from the chip leader.

The turn brought the {a-Hearts} and Stuer checked. Madanzhiev bet 980,000 this time and Stuer called once more.

On the {k-Diamonds} river, Stuer took some time before checking. Madanzhiev pot-betted, which was enough to put Stuer all in, and the German took about 30 seconds before calling it off for 4,179,616 total.

Madanzhiev shoved {k-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} for a full house, Stuer had trip kings with {k-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} and was eliminated.
