Negreanu Survives Again

Level 27 : 14,000/28,000, 3,500 ante

Daniel Negreanu opened 56,000 in the cutoff and "shadykushh" called in the small blind. Negreanu bet small with 42,000 on the {2-Hearts}{6-Spades}{8-Clubs} flop, his opponent made it 112,000 and Negreanu jammed for 380K.

Negreanu: {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}
shadykushh: {10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}

Negreanu had the best of it and the {a-Clubs} turn and {7-Clubs} river kept it that way.

Back-to-Back Big Ones for Marques

Level 26 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante

Pedro "BillieJeanS" Marques defended big blind and checked a {10-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} flop to Dominik Panka, who bet 92K. Marques called and both players checked the {k-Hearts} for a {2-Spades} river. Marques checked and Panka bet 162K. Marques raised to 592K and Panka tank-called.

Marques showed {j-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} for a straight and Panka had {q-Clubs}{9-Hearts}.

The next hand, Marques won another seven-figure pot with two pair over pair in the blinds and he's now the chip leader.

Another Dub for Negreanu

Level 25 : 10,000/20,000, 2,500 ante

Daniel Negreanu just can't lose an all-in pot.

The latest double came all in preflop with {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs} against the {a-}{k-} of "Xin Lee." The board rolled off eight-high and Daniel Negreanu is back in business after sinking to just a bit over 20 big blinds.

Buchanan Sees a Lovely Flop

Level 25 : 10,000/20,000, 2,500 ante

Shawn Buchanan shoved from under the gun for 220K and Michael "YesPlease" Clacher isolated with a reship on the button.

Buchanan: {k-Spades}{10-Clubs}
Clacher: {a-Hearts}{j-Spades}

The {5-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{k-Clubs} was about all Buchanan could have hoped for on the flop and he sealed a dub with a flushing turn.

Riess Heros and Busts

Level 25 : 10,000/20,000, 2,500 ante
Ryan Riess
Ryan Riess

Ryan Riess bet 80,000 on a board of {7-Spades}{4-Hearts}{j-Spades}{k-Hearts} from under the gun. Shyngis "somebodyelse" Satubayev check-raised all in for Riess' last 200K. Riess tanked well into his time bank then called with {a-}{j-} but was behind {k-Clubs}{4-Clubs}.

The river didn't help Riess, who had to resign himself to $2,070.
