"BrokePoker" Rebuys

Level 3 : 100/200, 0 ante

"Demar" opened for 525 under the gun and "BrokePoker" three-bet to 1,725 from the small blind.

The big blind folded bringing the action back to "Demar" who four-bet to 5,325 before called "BrokePoker's" all in jam of 12,045.

"Demar": {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}
"BrokePoker": {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}{5-Spades}{2-Hearts}

The flop came {8-Hearts}{4-Spades}{j-Hearts} giving "BrokePoker" the chance to not only receive the full double-up but win the low.

Unfortunately for "BrokePoker", the board finished with two ladies {q-Diamonds}{q-Spades} giving "Demar" a full house to win the whole pot forcing "BrokePoker" to rebuy.

Shannon "aulophobia" Shorr Ready for a Magical WSOP Melody

Level 3 : 100/200, 0 ante
Shannon Shorr
Shannon Shorr

According to Google, aulophobia is the fear of flutes. Whether it is the look of the flute, the sound it makes when being played, or the clicking sound from the buttons.

What does that have to do with poker? Well it happens to be the WSOP.com online screenname of poker pro Shannon Shorr, who is playing today’s tournament

With 95 WSOP-related cashes totaling $2,433,880 in earnings, Shorr, who in 2014 summitted Mount Kilimanjaro, is often on the shortlist of “Best Players Without a Bracelet.”

The Alabama native, who sits atop that state’s all-time money list with more than $8 million in earnings, has come close in the past having finished runner-up twice, a pair of third-place finishes, and four fifth-place finishes.

Last month, Shorr had some success on WSOP.com when he finished runner-up in the WSOP.com Season Finale Online Circuit Monster Stack for $26,899.

It seems to be only a matter of time before Shorr, who shared with PokerNews this photo of him at his grind station, finally finds WSOP gold, and it could very well happen tonight.

Remember Shannon, life is like a flute – it may have many holes and emptiness, but if you work on it carefully, it can make magical melodies.

Laplante Has His Aces Cracked

Level 3 : 100/200, 0 ante

"Reallife99" opened action for 575 and Ryan "protential" Laplante three-bet to 2,025 on the button.

The blinds folded and action was back on "Reallife99" who three-bet to 6,375 before calling off their 7,162 stack.

"Reallife99": {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{2-Spades}
Ryan "protential" Laplante: {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{3-Spades}

Laplante was ahead until the {k-Spades}{7-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} flop appeared giving "Reallife99" two-pair.

The {10-Spades} turn took away Laplante's chance at winning a low hand while giving both players a broadway draw but the {2-Clubs} completed the board on the river giving "Reallife99" a full house securing their double-up.

Shin Finds a Double

Level 4 : 125/250, 0 ante

It was almost a non-raised family pot before Mike "Mkspresident" Shin tossed out 1,500 from the big blind and found three callers to see a {2-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{7-Clubs}.

Shin continued for 6,250 and action folded to "argyle123" who raised to 12,500 on the button. Shin called for less holding 7,381 and the two players rolled over their hands.

"argyle123": {a-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}
Mike "Mkspresident" Shin: {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{2-Hearts}

Shin was ahead with bottom pair and the {j-Diamonds} turn improved his hand to two-pair.

Shin just needed to dodge the river and did as it fell the {k-Hearts} securing his double-up.
