"Aftermath8" Bites the Dust

Level 34 : 25,000/50,000, 6,250 ante

"dudeguydrew" raised to 100,000 under the gun and action folded to "Aftermath8" who called from big blind.

The flop came {3-Spades}{k-Hearts}{5-Clubs}, "Aftermath8" moved all in for 456,352 and "dudeguydrew" snap-called.

"Aftermath8": {k-Spades}{9-Hearts}
"dudeguydrew": {k-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}

Both players flopped top-pair but "Aftermath8" was out-kicked and the {5-Spades} turn was no help.

"Aftermath8" needed a nine on the river to stay alive but it came the {3-Diamonds} ending their tournament in 21st place -$3,527.41

"itashi28" Hits the Rail

Level 34 : 25,000/50,000, 6,250 ante

"itashi28" jammed for 286,338 from the hijack, and "dudeguydrew" three-bet shoved in the small blind, chasing out Matthew "MartyCohen" Weiss in the big blind.

"itashi28": {8-Spades}{7-Spades}
"dudeguydrew": {a-Clubs}{10-Hearts}

"itashi28" added a flush draw on the {2-Clubs}{j-Spades}{a-Spades} flop, and the {7-Diamonds} turn gave them more outs against the pair of aces of "dudeguydrew". The {2-Hearts} river was no help to "itashi28", who collects $3,527.41 for their 20th place performance.

The former client will cater to players in Nevada and New Jersey (players in Delaware are NOT able to participate), while the latter will serve the international base.

WSOP.com will hold 31 events – one each day for the month of July – while the other 54 will take place on GG Poker.

For players either in Nevada or New Jersey (remember, you must be 21+ to participate), or those planning to travel in, PokerNews put together all the information you need to know and also answered some lingering questions, which you can read here.
