Friday is Bracelet Day in Event #14

It's nearly time to hand out the next bracelet in the 2021 GGPoker WSOP Online Bracelet Events. During Day 1 play yesterday, the 2,639 entries by the time registration closed meant they were playing for $1,253,525 in this unguaranteed event.

Once registration closed, things went very quickly. They played into the money within an hour, but the large starting field meant that they played the full 32 scheduled levels for Day 1.

That left just 35 players in action fighting for the Gold Bracelet and the more than $150,000 top prize. Players who exit at the start of Day 2 can expect to take home $3,443, but players who make the final nine will all be guaranteed more than $15,000.

Brazilian player Rafael "riskgambler" Furlanetto bagged the biggest stack for the end of Day 1, as the only player with more than 5 million chips. Two others, Phachara "Phachara W" Wongwichit, and Ivan "uPayMyOnix" Limeira, finished Day 1 with more than 4 million.

At the other end of the table, four players are coming into the final day with less than 10 big blinds, and the majority of the field will start the day with between 10 and 30 blinds.
