Raman "Acrogum" Afanasenka: {6-Spades}{6-Diamonds}

Kalidas Slays Two Opponents With Flush

Level 11 : 200/400, 50 ante

Nick "DrPayne" Jivkov jammed for 5,503 from the cutoff over a raise of 880, Krishna "ninjago" Kalidas then four-bet jammed 32,345 from the button, Sean "Hurricane27" Legendre called the all in from the big bliind with a smaller stack than Kalindas.

Kalidas had the chance to score a double knockout but would have to do so vs a couple of pairs as he held the {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds} vs the {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} of Legendre and the {4-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} of Jivkov.

The flop came the {a-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} to give Kalidas a possibility of a flush with the highest diamond in hand. The turn completed the flush as the {10-Diamonds} came off. The {7-Hearts} completed the board and Kalidas gathered in both opponents' chips.

Legendre bought back in, Jivkov did not.

WSOP Legend: Doyle Brunson's Final Bracelet, 15 Years Later

Level 11 : 200/400, 50 ante
WSOP Legend Doyle Brunson
WSOP Legend Doyle Brunson

At the beginning of the 2005 WSOP, Doyle Brunson remained the co-king of the all-time bracelet count, tied along with Johnny Chan at nine. However, as the series drew toward its close in late June, that was no longer the case — Chan had overtaken him by winning No. 10 to stand atop the mountain alone.

Brunson was already phasing out his tournament play, having cashed precisely zero times that summer and just three times in the previous two combined, although one had resulted in a bracelet victory.

When it came time for Event #31: $5,000 No-Limit Hold'em 6-Handed, Brunson dusted off his tournament chops and made a run.

2020 WSOP Online Bracelet Winners Opts to Re-Enter

Level 10 : 160/320, 40 ante

Raman "Acrogum" Afanasenka opened for 744 from middle position and Rajendra "vsamba" Mahadevappa called from the hijack. "Oops1Outer" came along from the button, both blinds folded, and the flop came down {2-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}.

Two checks saw "Oops1Outer" bet 3,072 and only Afanasenka called to see the {5-Clubs} turn.

Afanasenka checked and then called off for 10,069 after "Oops1Outer" bet big.

"Oops1Outer": {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}
Raman "Acrogum" Afanasenka: {j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}

"Oops1Outer" was ahead with top pair and held on the {9-Hearts} river. Afanasenka, who captured a bracelet in last year's online series, opted to re-enter the tournament.
