"myob1029" Becomes First Player to Re-Enter Tournament

Level 3 : 50/100, 0 ante

Alex "OrcinusOrca" Foxen raised to 250 from middle position and "myob1029" jammed for just 379 from the cutoff. Patrick "Synesthesia" Eskandar then popped it to 858 from the button and Foxen called.

Foxen then check-called a bet of 1,122 on the {10-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} flop and 2,144 on the {2-Spades} turn.

When the {j-Diamonds} completed the board on the river, action went check-check and Foxen tabled the {3-Diamonds}{3-Spades}. Eskandar mucked and "myob1029" showed the {4-Spades}{a-Spades} for ace-high. With that, Foxen won the pot and "myob1029" became the first player to re-enter the tournament.

"Beastro" Looking to Beast Mode the WSOP Online

John Allan Hinds playing WSOP.com

While the summer is usually reserved for players coming into Vegas for the World Series of Poker, one of the benefits of the online events is that players from New Jersey can participate without having to travel across the country.

One such player is John Allan Hinds, who is playing from the Garden State under the screenname “Beastro.”

Hinds, who last year sent us this photo of his grind station, is a poker pro with $691,665 in live tournament earnings, including a career-best $262,574 for finishing 20th in the 2015 WSOP Main Event. In 2012, he won a WPT Borgata Poker Open $400 side event for $68,871, and in 2017 also cashed the WSOP Main Event finishing in 255th place for $40,181.

All told, Hinds has 44 WSOP-related cashes totaling $454,363, though he’s still in search of his first victory. He came close last year with five WSOP.com Season Finale Online Circuit cashes – including a sixth-place finish in the $320 Double Stack for $9,174 – but only time will tell if he can get it done here in the July bracelet events.
