Weng First to Advance

Level 16 : 1,000/2,000, 0 ante

Bin Weng wrestled the chip lead from Adrian Mateos in the early going of their heads-up match and it didn't take long for all of the chips to go in the middle. On a board reading {j-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{5-Spades} with around 85,000 already in the middle, Adrian Mateos led out for 58,000.

Bin Weng thought for a moment before announcing all in and Mateos called off his stack of around 190,000. Weng turned over {7-Hearts}{6-Hearts} for a straight and Mateos was already drawing dead with {a-Clubs}{j-Spades}. Weng was the first player to advance to the Round of 16 that will take place tomorrow.
