The first day of Event #12: $1,500 Limit Hold'em is set to begin at 3 p.m. local time. In the previous edition, David “ODB” Baker took down this event after topping a field of 541 players to earn $161,139 and his second WSOP bracelet.

There are only a few limit hold'em events on the 2021 World Series of Poker schedule, with the next event being the $10,000 Limit Hold'em Championship event (Event #16). In the previous iteration of this $1,500 Limit Hold'em back in 2019, many notables took a shot at this event including former WSOP bracelet event champions Daniel Negreanu, Barry Greenstein, Joe McKeehen, Shaun Deeb, Chris Ferguson and Benny Glaser.

This is a three-day event and the plan today is to play 15 levels of 40 minutes each with a 15-minute break every three levels. Late registration will be available through the first nine levels. Levels will increase to 60 minutes each on Day 2 and Day 3.

The PokerNews Live Reporting Team will be on the floor to provide you with the action from start to finish, with play beginning at 3 p.m. local time on Tuesday, October 5th, so stay tuned.
