Amar Applies Pressure

Level 13 : 2,000/3,000, 3,000 ante

The player under the gun opened to 7,000. The action folded to Richard Amar in the small blind and he called.

They went heads-up to the flop which came {k-Hearts}{3-Spades}{8-Clubs}.

Amar checked to the original raiser who continued with a bet of 6,000 and then called.

The {q-Spades} came on the turn. Amar checked to his opponent again and he bet 13,000 to which he called a third time.

The river card brought the {q-Hearts}. This time Amar took the betting lead and put his opponent all-in for 28,000. His opponent eventually let his hand go and Amar scooped the pot.
