Foster Eliminates Szczur

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Lucas Foster shoved all-in under the gun for roughly 265,000 and the action folded to Joshua Szcur who called off his stack which was less.

Joshua Szczur: {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}
Lucas Foster: {a-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}

Szczur was ahead with his king-kicker but fell way behind when the flop came {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{j-Spades}, giving Foster the Broadway straight. The turn was the {3-Hearts} for a sweat as Szczur picked up a flush draw but the {j-Clubs} on the river wasn't what he needed as he was sent to the payout desk.

Simmer Jams the Flop

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

The action folded around to Lucas Foster on the button who opened to 48,000. Jarred Simmer was in the small blind and three-bet to 110,000, and Roland Israelashvili quickly folded in the big blind before Foster made the call.

The flop came {j-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{6-Diamonds} and after about 15 seconds Simmer announced he was all in. Foster's cards hit the muck in an instant and the dealer shipped the pot to Simmer.

Jon Gisler raised from under the gun to 32,000. Javier Gomez then raised to 76,000 from the cutoff. When action folded back to Gisler he moved all-in putting his tournament life at risk.

Jon Gisler: {a-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}
Javier Gomez: {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}

The flop came {9-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} which gave hope to Gisler who had flopped the nut flush draw. The {7-Hearts} brought even more outs for Gisler giving him the open-ended straight draw.

The {4-Hearts} completed the board and Gisler could not get there. Gomez got the knockout to add to his growing stack.
