Monnette Wins a Big One

Level 22 : 25,000/50,000, 0 ante

Eric Kurtzman raised it up on the button and John Monnette three-bet from the small blind. Kurtzman four-bet and Monnette capped it as the two players went to a flop of {q-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{3-Hearts}.

Monnette led out with a bet and Kurtzman raised. Monnette just called and the {8-Hearts} landed on the turn. Monnette check-called another bet from Kurtzman and the {5-Hearts} completed the board. Monnette led out with four hearts on the board and Kurtzman reluctantly threw in chips to call.

Monnette flipped over {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs} for the nut-flush and dragged in the largest pot of the day thus far.
