Kurtzman Calls Correctly

Level 22 : 25,000/50,000, 0 ante

Eric Kurtzman raised it up on the button and John Monnette three-bet from the small blind. Kurtzman called and the flop came {8-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{4-Spades}. Monnette led out with a bet and Kurtzman raised which Monnette called.

The turn was the {5-Hearts} and Monnette check-called another bet from Kurtzman. The {j-Hearts} put four hearts on the board again and Monnette took the opportunity to bet. Kurtzman couldn't let his hand go as he threw his chips into the middle. Monnette showed {a-Spades}{9-Diamonds} for just ace-high while Kurtzman held a pair with {a-Clubs}{7-Spades}.
