Kelsall Takes One from Sterheimer

Andrew Kelsall stood pat on the third draw, while Philip Sternheimer drew one card. Kelsall fired out a bet, and Sternheimer tanked for a few before he opted to call. Kelsall tabled {2-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{7-Spades}{8-Spades}{9-Hearts} for a nine-low and was awarded the pot.

Prior to the final draw, Johannes Becker bet and Julien Martini called for both players to discard one card each. Martini then bet and earned a call from Becker to reveal the {8-}{7-}{5-}{3-}{2-} for an eighty-seven.

Becker nodded and paid it off right after sending his cards into the muck. Despite losing this pot, Becker has chipped up a lot as of lately.

Donny Rubinstein led each of the betting rounds, and Tobias Schwecht came along each step of the way.

After the final draw, Rubinstein bet once again, and Schwecht called. Rubinstein tabled {4-Clubs}{5-Spades}{8-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} for a nine Badugi and the winner, and Schwecht tossed his cards into the muck.

Zack Survives All-In Against Gorodinsky

The defending champion Dan Zack was at risk prior to the final draw and took one new card. Mike Gorodinsky also discarded one card and Zack then exposed his {8-}{7-}{6-}{3-}{2-}. Gorodinsky had some outs but mucked quickly when he missed them with an eight-draw briefly shown.

Scott Seiver started the day with a big stack but never got anything running. His seat was empty now and Donny Rubinstein on his former table confirmed that he was eliminated by Fu Wong.

According to Rubinstein, Wong made a 7-5 perfect and Seiver mucked before heading out of the tournament area.

Becker Wins Three-Way Pot

On the tail end of a three-way pot between John Pappas, Hal Rotholz and Johannes Becker, it was the latter who bet after the final draw. Only Rotholz was still in the mix by then and called to get shown {7-}{5-}{3-}{2-}{a-} for a seven-five perfect by Becker. That won the pot for the German, who pulled ahead of Pappas in the counts.

Rogers Eliminates Brown

The action was picked up after the third draw with Aaron Rogers having fired out another bet. Clifford Brown was all-in, and Brandon Wong opted to fold. That left Rogers who tabled the winning hand {a-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{7-Hearts} versus the all-in player Brown, who showed {4-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{10-Spades}, and was subsequently eliminated from the tournament.

Peck Takes From Israelashvili

On the second draw, Roland Israelashvili took two cards and Vladimir Peck discarded one. Israelashvili check-raised and was called by Peck who then patted while Israelashvili took one. A check by Israelashvili followed and Peck's bet did the trick to win the pot.
