Tayi Bounces Back

Level 15 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

A-5 Triple Draw

The stack of Venkata Tayi has fluctuated wildly throughout the last few levels and the former big stack was well below the average for quite some time. Just now he had a final bet after the final drawing round paid off by Ben Yu and tabled a wheel to win the pot.

Badugi

Julien Martini raised and Johannes Becker defended out of the blinds. Becker discarded two cards and Martini took one new card. Becker check-called to then have both players discard one each. A raising war broke out during which Martini ended up at risk. They both patted and Becker revealed the {6-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{3-Clubs}{2-Hearts} for a Five-Dugi.

Martini tossed his cards into the muck and headed to the rail.

Lamy Scores a Win Against Vieira

Level 15 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

Badugi

The action was picked up after the first draw, with Gilles Lamy having check-raised Joao Vieira, and Vieira made the call.

The second draw saw each player stand pat. This time Lamy fired out a bet and Vieira called.

Both players stood pat on the final draw as well. Lamy bet once more and Vieira quickly called. Lamy tabled {8-Clubs}{7-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} for an eight-high Badugi, and Vieira flashed his {8-Spades}{7-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} as he tossed his cards into the muck.

Rogers Pats to the Win

Level 14 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

Badugi

A short-stacked Hieu Luu was all-in for just 16,000 prior to the first draw and Aaron Rogers looked him up to pat all the way. Luu took three, two and one cards respectively.

Rogers tabled the {k-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{5-Hearts} for a King-Dugi and Luu had a wheel draw with the {a-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}. However, another club rolled off and Luu was sent to the rail. Kendall Fukumoto was also unable to complete his miracle comeback and departed just prior.
