Arie Kliper Eliminated in 10th Place ($34,563)

Level 24 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Arie Kliper
Arie Kliper

The action folded to Arie Kliper in the small blind who made it 180,000 to go. Tingyi Tsai was in the big blind and shoved all in. Kliper instantly called off his stack of around 1,050,000 and the cards were on their backs.

Arie Kliper: {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}
Tingyi Tsai: {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}

The flop fell {a-Spades}{9-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} to give Kliper a pair of aces but Tsai hit a set of nines. The {k-Hearts} on the turn spelled the end for Kliper who saw the {a-Diamonds} land on the river.

Vicent Bosca

On the last hand before the break, Tingyi Tsai opened to 100,000 on the button. Vicent Bosca three-bet to 410,000 in the small blind and Tsai called. The flop came {q-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} and Bosca led out for 225,000 which Tsai called.

The turn brought the {7-Clubs} and Bosca fired out another bet of 425,000. Tsai still called and the {8-Spades} hit the river. Bosca thought for a minute before jamming all in for around 1,260,000. Tsai snapped him off and showed {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts} for the nut straight. Bosca flashed {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts} before making his way to the payout desk.

Mitchell Halverson Eliminated in 8th Place ($45,028)

Level 25 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Mitchell Halverson
Mitchell Halverson

Jonathan Jaffe raised it up on the button and Mitchell Halverson slid out a three-bet to 1,400,000, leaving himself with just 130,000 behind. Jaffe shoved all in and Halverson waited for the action to complete on the other table before making the call.

Mitchell Halverson: {8-Spades}{8-Clubs}
Jonathan Jaffe: {j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}

Halverson was looking to spike a two-outer in order to stay alive but the flop of {a-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} provided no help. The {k-Diamonds} on the turn and the {9-Spades} on the river changed nothing as Mitchell was eliminated in eighth place.
