Quads For Williams

Level 5 : 300/600, 600 ante

The board read {6-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{j-Clubs}. Harvey Williams bet 9,000 and his opponent called.

The river came the {8-Spades}. Williams bet again, this time for 20,000 but did not get a call on this occasion as his opponent folded. Williams could not help but show the {6-Spades}{6-Clubs} as he took down the pot.

Elkins Calls River For Tournament Life

Level 4 : 300/500, 500 ante

Action was picked up on the river with the board reading {4-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{6-Spades}{10-Clubs}. The pot was about 6,000 and Cain Elkins bet 6,000. Upeshka De Silva turned the heat up to maximum as he shoved all in to force Elkins to make a huge decision for his tournament life.

Elkins had about 12,000 behind and studied the dangerous looking board for several moments before he called.

De Silva showed the {8-Clubs}{7-Spades} for just a pair, which Elkins could beat as he tabled the {a-Spades}{10-Spades} and collected his double up.
