According to observers, Kevin Gerhart and Jon Turner clashed early in Day 1 action.

Turner raised to 400 from the small blind. Gerhart called from the big blind.

Turner drew one and Gerhart drew two.

Turner bet 1,000 and Gerhart re-raised to 4,500. Turner made it 13,000 and Gerhart shoved. Turner made the call.

Gerhart said he had number three and Turner said "Chop it up" as both players had the {7-}{6-}{5-}{3-}{2-}.
