Schwartz Busts Daniels

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 6,000 ante
Jake Schwartz
Jake Schwartz

Jake Schwartz raised to 10,000 from the small blind and Jake Daniels called in the big.

Schwartz took two off and Daniels drew one.

Schwartz then bet enough to put Daniels all in for his last 60,000.

Daniels tanked, but eventually announced a call.

"Eight," said Schwartz as he tabled {8-}{7-}{6-}{5-}{2-}. It was good against Daniels' ten and Daniels was eliminated.

Mueller Survives His All-in; Nearly Triples Up

Level 13 : 1,500/3,000, 4,500 ante
Greg Mueller
Greg Mueller

Aaron Rogers started things off when he shoved his last 32,000 chips into the middle. Jon Turner re-shoved 70,000 chips and was all-in and Greg Mueller called for 60,000 and was all-in as well.

Both Rogers and Turner drew one card, while Mueller stood pat. After all the dust had settled it was the {9-}{6-}{4-}{3-}{2-} low of Mueller's that took down both the main and the side pot as Rogers paired his trey and turner paired his four. That eliminated Rogers and left Turner short-stacked.

Sammartino Puts the Pressure on Mori

Level 13 : 1,500/3,000, 4,500 ante
Dario Sammartino
Dario Sammartino

Dario Sammartino raised from early position to 7,500 and Kento Mori called from the big blind.

Kento Mori drew two cards while Sammartino stood pat. It was Mori who acted first and checked. Then Sammartino placed out 10,000, which was enough to put Mori all-in. He quickly folded his pair of treys face-up and saved his remaining 8,500 chips for a different hand.

Lipiner Notches Papastavrou

Level 13 : 1,500/3,000, 4,500 ante

Jason Papastavrou raised to 7,000 from under-the-gun and was called by Dario Sammartino in the cutoff and Jason C Lipiner in the big blind.

Lipiner drew two, Sammartino drew one, and Papastavrou also drew one.

Everyone checked on the end and Lipiner tabled {7-}{6-}{5-}{4-}{2-}.

It was good, but Lipiner got a shock when Papastavrou showed he held an eight-high.

"How can you not bet?" Lipiner said to Papastavrou. "I'm on tilt now."

Level 13 : 1,500/3,000, 4,500 ante
Yuval Bronshtein
Yuval Bronshtein

The action was picked up after the draw with Noel Eicher who fired 25,000 chips into the middle. Yuval Bronshtein thought for a moment before he re-raised all-in for 162,500. This sent Eicher into the tank, but after a couple of minutes he opted to fold {k-}{7-}{5-}{4-}{2-} face up, and Bronshtein was awarded the pot.
