Joe Eliminated on Seventh Street

Level 18

Stud Hi-Lo

One of the biggest pots of the day sent Dean Joe packing and Paramjit Gill raking in plenty of chips.

Dean Joe: {x-}{x-} / {q-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{3-Hearts}
Paramjit Gill: {x-}{x-} / {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{9-Spades}
Daryl Aguirre: {x-}{x-} / {4-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}
Allen Kessler: {x-}{x-} / {5-Spades}{q-Spades}{4-Clubs}{9-Clubs} - fold on sixth street

All of Joe's chips were in the middle on fourth street, while Gill was taking the betting lead against Daryl Aguirre and Allen Kessler. Joe, Gill and Aguirre continued to seventh street after Kesler folded, with Joe showing {q-}{10-}{6-} for two pair. Gill revealed {a-}{7-}{3-} while saying he caught the ace on seventh to make a better two pair, sending Joe to the rail.

Moments later, George Alexander also busted on a nearby table.

Elezra Surpasses a Million in Chips

Level 18

Stud Hi-Lo

Eli Elezra: {x-}{x-} / {7-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{6-Spades} / {x-}
Tom Koral: {x-}{x-} / {3-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{10-Spades} / {x-}

Eli Elezra bet fifth to seventh and the final bet sent Tom Koral into the tank.

"It is good when you bet and your opponent is sweating," Elezra said as Koral nodded with a smile on the face. Koral eventually called and Elezra tabled the {9-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{7-Spades} for nines and sevens, which ended up as the winning hand.

By earning the pot, Elezra surpassed one million in chips and the only other player remotely close to that is Qinghai Pan.

Collopy Loses Some in Three-Way Action

Level 18

Stud Hi-Lo

Jim Collopy: {x-}{x-} / {2-Spades}{k-Spades}{5-Spades}{10-Hearts} / {x-}
Michael Trivett: {x-}{x-} / {7-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} / {x-}
Barbara Enright: {x-}{x-} / {5-Hearts}{10-Spades}{a-Hearts}{a-Clubs} / {x-}

Another large three-way pot in Stud Hi-Lo saw Jim Collopy eventually muck on seventh street and he had to forfeit a portion of his stack. Michael Trivett showed the {8-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} for a pair of eights and a low while Barbara Enright won the high portion with just a pair of aces, as her {9-Hearts}{6-Spades}{2-Diamonds} had no shot at the low.

Enright has chipped up significantly as of late and finds herself among the current big stacks.

Scott Bohlman: {x-}{x-} / {a-}{5-}{q-}{10-} / {x-}
David Prociak: {x-}{x-} / {6-}{9-}{10-}{10-} / {x-}

Yucius Denied a Double

Level 18

Omaha Hi-Lo

All but the last few chips of Donald Yucius were in the middle prior to the {k-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{3-Hearts} flop on which he then jammed. Allen Kessler called and the cards were turned over.

Donald Yucius: {a-Hearts}{q-Spades}{q-Clubs}{5-Spades}
Allen Kessler: {7-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{2-Spades}

"Make it interesting," Kessler said in table chat and got that with the {8-Spades} turn. He then earned the chop pot thanks to the {a-Spades} on the river. In the meanwhile, Refugio Quintero and Michael Rosenberg were both eliminated on different tables while Yucius remains very short.
