Zyrin Nails a Wheel Against Gamble

Level 2 : 600/1,200, 0 ante
Anatolii Zyrin
Anatolii Zyrin

Badeucey

Prior to the second draw, Eric Kurtzman checked and Nathan Gamble bet, Anatolii Zyrin raised and Kurtzman folded. Gamble made it three bets and then called when Zyrin four-bet. Both patted and Zyrin three-bet, which Gamble called. They patted again and this time, Zyrin's bet was only called by Gamble.

Zyrin rolled over the {7-Diamonds}/{5-Hearts}{4-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} for a number one and Five-Dugi to earn the entire pot, Gamble mucked the {6-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{4-Spades}{3-Hearts} face-up.

The Next Two Additions

Level 2 : 600/1,200, 0 ante

Scott Seiver and David "ODB" Baker have joined the tournament to bring the field size up to 37 entries, however, some of them are not in their seats just yet.

Coleman Gets Some Back

Level 2 : 600/1,200, 0 ante

Big O Hi-Lo

On the tail end of a battle of the blinds, the board showed {k-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{7-Spades} and Maxx Coleman bet 7,000. Peter Neff called and Coleman exposed the {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds} first, then also flashed the {k-Spades}{10-Hearts}{8-Spades}. Neff mucked and Coleman earned the pot to pull closer to the starting stack again.

Campbell Takes From Monnette

Level 2 : 600/1,200, 0 ante

Big O Hi-Lo

On the heads-up turn of {9-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{q-Hearts}, Chad Campbell check-called for 1,600 when facing a bet by John Monnette and then checked again the {j-Hearts} on the river. Monnette bet 4,500 and Campbell called.

Monnette announced queens up but never got to show them as Campbell's {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{3-Hearts} for a flush won it all.

The Field is Growing

Level 2 : 600/1,200, 0 ante

What likely portrays the frequent shuffle of players for the remainder of the day has once more kicked off. The next batch of entries arrived and a new table opened, which will now draw for the button and then kick off with a new poker variant.

Below are the latest players to enter the fray.

Gerhart Takes From Mizrachi

Level 2 : 600/1,200, 0 ante

Omaha High Only

Robert Mizrachi raised on the button and Kevin Gerhart three-bet out of the small blind, which Mizrachi called. On the {j-Spades}{8-Spades}{2-Spades} flop, Gerhart's bet was called and he then checked the {4-Hearts} on the turn. Mizrachi bet for Gerhart to check-raise and the instant fold of Mizrachi followed.

Zhu Takes From Gerhart and Buchalter

Level 1 : 500/1,000, 0 ante

Yueqi Zhu: {x-}{x-} / {3-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{a-Hearts}{j-Hearts} / {x-}

Yehuda Buchalter check-called a bet from Yueqi Zhu on fifth while Kevin Gerhart got out of the way. Zhu then bet sixth to receive a call and check-called seventh. Zhu rolled over the {a-Spades}{j-Spades}{3-Spades} for aces and jacks and claimed the entire pot.

Turner Gets Scooped

Level 1 : 500/1,000, 0 ante
Jon Turner
Jon Turner

Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo

On the three-way turn of {9-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}, Michael Saltzburg bet the pot for 4,200 out of the big blind and Jon Turner called in the cutoff. Carol Fuchs came along on the button and the {3-Hearts} fell on the river. Saltzburg bet the pot for 15,800 once more.

Turner tank-called while Fuchs took even longer to call as well. The cards of Turner were only briefly shown but he could beat neither the {j-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{2-Spades} of Saltzburg for the high pot nor the {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} for the nut low of Fuchs.
