Vitch Eliminates Becker

Level 11 : 4,000/8,000, 0 ante
Chris Vitch
Chris Vitch

2-7 No-Limit Single Draw

Johannes Becker raised all-in from the small blind for his remaining 26,000 and Chris Vitch insta-called from the big blind. It was Becker at risk with {10-}{7-}{4-}{3-} and he drew one card versus the {10-}{9-}{7-}{2-} of Vitch's and he also drew one card.

Next, Becker turned over his drawcard and revealed a {10-} for one pair tens, and Vitch flipped over his final card and it was a {7-} for a lower pair sevens and the victory.

With that hand, Becker was eliminated from the tournament.

Hellmuth Doubles Through Hennigan

Level 11 : 4,000/8,000, 0 ante

No-Limit 2-7 Single Draw

Phil Hellmuth already accidentally exposed his {7-}{5-}{4-}{2-} to then realise he still had a draw to go. "You have to show now," John Hennigan said as he turned over his {j-}{8-}{6-}{3-}{2-}. Hellmuth peeled the final card and it was a {10-} to improve the 16-time WSOP bracelet winner to the superior low.

"What are the odds to get dealt a {2-}{4-}{4-}{5-}{7-} two hands in a row?" Hellmuth inquired and then asked the question to nearby tables as well.

Bronstein Doubles Through Kelsall

Level 11 : 4,000/8,000, 0 ante

Stud Hi-Lo

Noah Bronstein: {6-Hearts}{5-Clubs} / {2-Spades}{5-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{4-Spades} / {10-Spades}

Plenty of high cards for Andrew Kelsall for what appeared to have been kings and jacks hit the muck the moment Noah Bronstein's low and six-high straight were mashed together. Bronstein earned the entire pot and doubled for 27,000.

Israelashvili Takes It on the Flop

Level 11 : 4,000/8,000, 0 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

With around 14,000 in the middle and the flop showing {a-Spades}{4-Spades}{2-Hearts}, Matt Szymaszek bet 10,000. Roland Israelashvili then piled in all his T-5,000 chips for a pot-sized raise and Szymaszek reluctantly folded.

Volpe and Schwartz Chop

Level 11 : 4,000/8,000, 0 ante

Stud Hi-Lo

Paul Volpe: {x-}{x-} / {j-Spades}{a-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{6-Hearts} / {x-}
Jake Schwartz: {x-}{x-} / {6-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{5-Spades}{7-Diamonds} / {x-}

Picking up the action on fifth street, Paul Volpe checked and Jake Schwartz bet to force out Yehuda Buchalter. On sixth street, Volpe check-called and then check-raised seventh to get a call by Schwartz. Volpe rolled over the {j-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} for pair of jacks and a low but only earned one half of the pot as Schwartz had {j-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} for a flush.
