Martini and Weng Clash Twice

Level 2 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Julien Martini
Julien Martini

Bin Weng opened to 6,500 from the cutoff and Julien Martini called in the small blind.

On the {q-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{3-Diamonds} flop, Martini check-raised a bet of 5,000 from Weng up to 21,000. Weng called and they saw the {10-Clubs} turn.

Both players checked to the {2-Hearts} river and Martini led out for 51,000. Weng went into the tank for a minute, before tossing in a chip for a call. Martini revealed {q-Spades}{9-Hearts} for top pair and Weng mucked his holding.

On the next hand, Bin Weng opened to 21,000 from the cutoff and Martini three-bet to 45,500 from the big blind. Weng called and the flop came {k-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}. Martini continued for 25,000 and Weng came along.

On the {4-Hearts} turn, Martini bet again, this time 30,000, and Weng laid it down.
