Addamo Calls With Ace-High

Level 1 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Michael Addamo opened to 4,500 from under-the-gun and Jake Daniels defended in the big blind.

On the {3-Spades}{9-Spades}{q-Spades} flop, Daniels check-called a bet of 3,000 from Addamo.

The turn was the {9-Hearts} and both players checked to the {6-Diamonds} river.

Daniels led for 13,000 and Addamo shrugged and called.

Daniels turned over {a-Spades}{4-Diamonds} for ace-high and a busted flush draw, but Addamo had him out-kicked with {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}.

Coleman Keeps Firing

Level 1 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

David Coleman opened to 5,000 from the hijack and was called by Mo Arani in the cutoff and James Chen in the big blind.

Action checked to Coleman on the {10-Clubs}{6-Spades}{2-Hearts} flop, who continued for 10,000. Only Chen called.

The turn brought the {7-Spades} and Chen check-folded facing a 15,000 bet from Coleman.

Funaro More Than Doubles in the First Level

Level 1 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Frank Funaro
Frank Funaro

Picking up the action on the {j-Spades}{7-Hearts}{5-Spades} flop, Jake Daniels bet 4,000 from early position into a pot of around 20,000. Frank Funaro raised to 14,000 in the cutoff and Sergi Reixach flat-called from the big blind. Daniels re-raised to 63,000 and both Funaro and Reixach called.

The turn brought the {k-Spades} and Reixach led out with a bet of 55,000. Daniels and Funaro both called to see the {5-Diamonds} pair the board on the river.

Reixach checked this time and Daniels counted out a bet of 200,000. Funaro called off his last 176,000 and Reixach folded. Daniels showed {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} for a full house but it was no match for the {5-Hearts}{5-Clubs} of Funaro who rivered quads.

"Come on. Are you fucking kidding me?" Daniels let out his frustration after the hand.

Weng Takes From Soverel

Level 1 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Heads-up in a three-bet pot on a flop of {7-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{10-Hearts}, Sam Soverel bet 25,000 from the small blind and Bin Weng called on the button.

Both players checked on the {7-Spades} turn and Soverel checked again when the {3-Hearts} completed the board.

Weng took his time before cutting out a bet to 95,000 and sliding it into the middle. Soverel quickly folded and Weng dragged the pot.
