Nehme Jams Up His Stack

Level 2 : 200/300, 300 ante

Joining the action on the {j-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{7-Hearts} turn, Fouad Nehme checked out of the blinds and Robert Michael made it 5,000 to go. Nehme then check-raised to 15,000 and earned a reluctant call. The {4-Hearts} fell on the river and Nehme now pushed all-in for 28,300, which won the pot without resistance.

Also featured on the same table is Neel Murthy with a stack just above what he started with.

Miles Loses Some; Is Up and Grateful

Level 2 : 200/300, 300 ante
Tony Miles
Tony Miles

While Tony Miles may not be able to run a marathon right now due to an injury, he is grateful to be back at the Rio and riffle the chips. Miles sat down some time in level one and immediately chipped up. Just now he was involved in a heads-up pot on the {7-Spades}{3-Hearts}{3-Clubs} flop on which he called a bet worth 1,700 by the preflop aggressor from under the gun. His opponent also bet the {8-Hearts} turn for 3,000 and Miles folded.

Despite losing this minor pot, Miles remains well above the starting stack in the Brasilia Red section.

Bohringer Chips Up With a Set

Level 3 : 200/400, 400 ante

Three ways to the {9-Spades}{5-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{6-Spades} flop, Lou Bohringer checked and so did the two players behind in the hijack and on the button. The French actress and PokerNews presenter then bet the {k-Hearts} river for 6,000 into a pot of around 10,000 and earned one caller.

Bohringer tabled the {2-Spades}{2-Hearts} for bottom set and the hijack mucked {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts} face up.

Martini On the Second Bullet for the Day

Level 3 : 200/400, 400 ante

Julien Martini started Day 1c in the Brasilia room but was nowhere to be found anymore. Instead, he is now over in the Amazon room and recalled his elimination in the very first hand. According to Martini, he flopped a wheel with {a-}{3-} while his opponent had fives and deuces to river a full house.

The second bullet hasn't brought any exciting news yet as Martini is down by a small margin.

Morio Attempts a Trap

Level 3 : 200/400, 400 ante

TJ Morio opens from under the gun with a bet of 600. He was called by the hijack, small blind, and big blind.

The flop came {6-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}. Morio was the first to act and he decided to check. The player in the hijack bet 1,500. Both the blinds folded, Mario made the call.

The turn card was {3-Diamonds}. Both players checked.

The river brought the {7-Clubs}. Mario took a few moments to think and then checked. His opponent also checked.

Mario tabled the {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts}. His opponent mucked her hand. He flopped trip aces, but got little value.
