Welcome to Day 2 of Event #41: $2,500 Freezeout. Day 1 saw 896 unique entries which generated a prize pool of $1,993,600. The entrants played hand-for-hand in the last level of the night until the money bubble was reached. There were 135 players to cash, all of which will return today and walk away with at a cash prize of at least $4,009.

Dominykas Mikolaitis (1,000,000) finished the day with an impressive chip lead with Arthur Conan in second place with 787,000 in chips. Julian Milliard-Feral (742,000) follows closely behind. There are many notable players left in the field including the likes of Ali Imsirovic (337,000), Jeremy Ausmus (275,000), Uri Reichenstein (184,000), Christian Harder (164,000), Kevin Martin (77,000), and Asi Moshe (28,000)

Some of those who failed to advance to Day 2 were Adrian Mateos, Ryan Laplante, Daniel Negreanu, Joe McKeehen, Maurice Hawkins, and Scott Blumstein.

Day 2 will restart today October 22 at 12:00 p.m. local time and the remaining field will play 10 Levels of 60-minutes. There will be a 15-minute break every two Levels and a dinner break will occur after Level 23 (≈ 6:30 p.m.).
