Smiljkovic Shoves on Platt

Level 18 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Jeff Platt opened to 25,000 from the lojack and found one caller in Daniel Smiljkovic in the big blind.

Smiljkovic check-called a 17,000 bet from Platt on the {5-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} flop and both players checked on the {q-Diamonds} turn.

The {2-Hearts} completed the board and Platt unintentionally bet 120,000 out of turn after misinterpreting a gesture by Smiljkovic. After clarification, it was ruled that Platt's bet would stand if Smiljkovic checked, which he decided to.

Smiljkovic then shoved for around 450,000.

"I was value betting," Platt said as he folded {10-Spades}{10-Clubs} face up.

Smiljkovic revealed a lone {q-Hearts} and scooped the pot.

Level 18 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

A short stack shoved all-in preflop for less than 100,000 and Shawn Gill called with chips behind.

Short Stack: {k-Spades}{j-Clubs}
Shawn Gill: {k-Hearts}{q-Clubs}

The board ran out {9-Clubs}{5-Spades}{4-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{3-Spades} and Gill knocked his opponent out with king high, queen kicker.

Martin Jacobson
Martin Jacobson

Martin Jacobson and Harsukhpaul Sangha were involved in a pot with 160,000 in the middle and with a board reading {9-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{j-Hearts}.

Jacobson put out a bet of 225,000 and after a short amount of time, Sangha called. Jacobson tabled his {k-Diamonds}{q-Spades} for a king-high straight and Sangha mucked, giving Jacobson a pot to push his stack to over one million chips.

Dorazio Finds Life

Level 18 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Brandon Dorazio was all in and at risk from early position and the big blind called with the covering stack.

Brandon Dorazio: {q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}
Big Blind: {a-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}

The flop and turn of {8-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{4-Spades} did not improve Dorazio but the river {9-Spades} gave Dorazio a queen-high straight and the man who was one two-outer away from being the bubble of the tournament, found himself with chips again.

Frank Kelly: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}
Jose Esparza: {q-Diamonds}{q-Spades}
