Ho Tangles with Elezra

Level 9 : 1,000/1,500, 0 ante

The action folded to Maria Ho in the small blind who limped in. Eli Elezra checked his option and the flop came {q-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{3-Spades}. Ho led out with a bet and Elezra called to see the {6-Diamonds} on the turn.

Ho fired out another bet and Elezra still called to see the {10-Clubs} on the river. Ho checked this time and Elezra quickly checked back. Ho showed {8-Spades}{2-Clubs} for a pair of eights but Elezra had her out-kicked with {9-Clubs}{8-Clubs}.

Along with Ho, Julien Martini and Andrew Kelsall were a couple of the other entries to beat the late registration deadline. The tournament clock is currently showing 163 entries and that number will become official shortly.
