Dragon Burns Through Kings

Level 20 : 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Larry Dragon was all in and at risk holding the {j-Clubs}{10-Clubs} and was in big trouble vs the {k-Hearts}{k-Spades} of Kevin Wang.

The flop came {5-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{a-Hearts} to look bleak for Dragon. The turn as the {10-Hearts} and the river the {10-Spades} as the dealer dealt them so quickly that dragon barely knew what hit him as he was suddenly saved by runner-runner trips to commit regicide against Wang's kings.

Cho Takes One Out With Top Two

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

The flop read {j-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{10-Clubs}.

Steve Cho had bet 100,000 on the flop, he was facing a shove of about 450,000 from his opponent. He thought for a few moments before he called.

His opponent turned over the {q-Diamonds}{8-Spades} and voiced some displeasure at the length of the tank when he saw that Cho had the {q-Clubs}{j-Clubs} for top two pair.

The turn was the {4-Diamonds} and the river came the {3-Clubs} and Cho took down the nice pot to head close to a million in chips.

Pok Kim raised all in for 55,000 from the button, the small blind player called and then called the 280,000 three-bet jam KL Cleeton made from the big blind.

Pok Kim: {k-Hearts}{8-Spades}
KL Cleeton: {q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}
Small Blind Player: {a-Clubs}{6-Clubs}

Cleeton was ahead with his made hand of queens until the {k-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} flop fell giving Kim trip kings.

The {8-Clubs} turn improved Kim to a full house, securing her triple-up, while Cleeton faded a club on the river as the {j-Diamonds} secured his a double-up worth 225,000.
