Veitzer Chips Up Versus Buchalter

Level 25 : 30,000/60,000, 0 ante
Scott Veitzer
Scott Veitzer

On the completed board of {7-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{k-Clubs}, Scott Veitzer fired out a bet on the river. Yehuda Buchalter opted to call and was shown the bad news when Veitzer tabled {a-Hearts}{a-Spades}{k-Spades}{8-Spades} for sixes full of aces, and was subsequently awarded the pot.

This pot catapulted Veitzer above the one million chip mark.

Wilson and Kwiatkowski Chop up Concepcion

Level 25 : 30,000/60,000, 0 ante

On a board reading {8-Hearts}{6-Spades}{a-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} Rafael Concepcion and David Wilson were all in and at risk against Kris Kwiatkowski, who had them both covered.

Kwiatkowski: {q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{3-Spades}
Concepcion: {10-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{2-Spades}
Wilson: {a-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}

The {8-Spades} completed the board and Kwiatkowski took the high, while Wilson got the low — eliminating Concepcion in the process.

Pearce Scores Double KO

Level 25 : 30,000/60,000, 0 ante
Pearce Arnold
Pearce Arnold

A raising war broke out preflop between Pearce Arnold, Kevin Peterson and Peter Pensa, which ended up with Pensa and Peterson both all in preflop.

Pensa: {k-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{j-Hearts}
Pearce: {a-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{4-Spades}{3-Hearts}
Peterson: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{6-Hearts}

The dealer dealt out {6-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} — giving Pearce a straight and a low, which was enough to eliminate both Pensa and Petersen.

Gussoni Eliminated by Peterson

Level 25 : 30,000/60,000, 0 ante

The action was picked up as the dealer pushed the pot towards Kevin Peterson, who had survived his all-in.

Robert Gussoni was not as fortunate and was eliminated.

Baumstein Drills Flush to Stay Alive

Level 25 : 30,000/60,000, 0 ante
Scott Baumstein
Scott Baumstein

Yehuda Buchalter opened on the button and was three-bet by Scott Baumstein in the small blind. Khamar Xaythavone then four-bet from the big blind. Baumstein called for the remainder of his chips, and Buchalter called as well.

The flop came {k-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{q-Spades}, Xaythavone continuation bet, and Buchalter called.

Buchalter then led out on the {j-Spades} turn and Xaythavone called.

Both players checked the river. Baumstein revealed {a-Spades}{8-Hearts}{6-Spades}{4-Clubs} for the nut flush and scooped the main. Buchalter held {10-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{3-Clubs} for a straight and took down the side pot as Xaythavone mucked.
