Raymer Proves Sticky

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

An opponent in early position raised pre-flop and Greg Raymer came along from the small blind. The flop came {4-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}, and Raymer check-called a bet of 10,000.

His opponent bet another 10,000 on the {6-Clubs} turn, and again Raymer stuck around. Both players checked the {9-Diamonds} river.

"I have a pair other than the seven," Raymer said, turning over {q-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}. His opponent mucked as Raymer went over 300,000 chips.

Level 15 : 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Howard Mash
Howard Mash

Howard Mash was seen standing at the payout desk and waiting for his payout slip.

According to Mash, he raised pre-flop to 10,000 and Stuart Taylor defended from the big blind. Mash continued for 9,000 on the {j-}{6-}{5-} flop and was again called.

The turn came {a-} and Mash jammed his remaining chips. Taylor called with {5-}{5-} for a set of fives, while Mash had {k-}{q-} for a gutshot straight draw.

Mash failed to connect with the river, and the defending champion from 2019 hit the rail.

Level 15 : 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Greg Raymer
Greg Raymer

Angela Jordison raised to 10,000 preflop in early position and on the button, Greg Raymer three-bet to 26,000 and Jordison called.

The flop came out {3-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{a-Clubs} and Jordison checked to Raymer who bet 20,000. Jordison raised to 68,000 and Raymer called to see a turn.

The turn came an {8-Clubs} and Jordison checked once more to Raymer who bet 50,000. Jordison raised all-in for 240,000 which had Raymer covered and he called.

Angela Jordison: {a-Spades}{8-Spades}
Greg Raymer: {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}

Raymer was drawing dead against the turned full house of Jordison and the inconsequential {j-Clubs} on the river was the last card of Raymer's tournament. "Fossilman" signed a fossil and gave it to Jordison and then left the tournament.
