Prasetyo Wins Bigger Pot Against Waxman

Level 19
Aditya Prasetyo
Aditya Prasetyo

Limit Hold'em

Aditya Prasetyo four-bet in the big blind and Tamin Nakamura called for Matt Waxman to then cap it with a five-bet on the button. Prasetyo and Nakamura called as the trio headed to the {q-Clubs}{j-Spades}{5-Spades} flop. Prasetyo now check-raised and Nakamura folded, Waxman then ended up capping it with a five-bet once more and Prasetyo called.

The {3-Clubs} turn was checked and Prasetyo bet the {5-Hearts} river to pick up a call by Waxman. He tabled the {j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} for jacks full and Waxman mucked.

Small Pot for Hachem

Level 19

Pot-Limit Omaha

Joining the action on the {8-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} turn, Joe Hachem bet 32,000 out of the big blind. Matt Vengrin spent a short time in the tank and folded. As Hachem studied his cards to show them, Vengrin offered "I show if you show."

Mike Matusow chimed in with a "he has the nuts with the flush draw" before Hachem exposed the {10-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{x-}. Vengrin briefly flashed a nut flush draw before the pot was sent to Hachem.

Johnson Back from the Brink

Level 19

Omaha Hi-Lo

Marco Johnson had been sitting on a very short stack on the last break. However, he spun that up massively and one of the double ups saw him with a wheel and flush draw on the {k-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{a-Hearts} turn. He tabled the {q-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{5-Spades}{2-Hearts} and Christian Roberts was drawing very slim. The {2-Diamonds} river changed nothing as Roberts' cards were flung into the muck instantly.

Peiwen Wang: {2-}{5-} / {7-}{a-}{5-}{k-} / {a-}
Kenny Hsiung: {4-}{6-} / {2-}{q-}{8-}{7-} / {k-}

Peiwen Wang had previously doubled his severe short stack and then had all but 16,000 in after third street. Kenny Hsiung bet fourth and Wang piled them in. Until sixth, Hsiung had made an eighty-seven and Wang had a draw to a seventy-five. However, he paired the ace and that ended his run in 24th place.

Ciprian Tutu: {a-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}/{4-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{7-Spades}/{9-Hearts}
Nicholas Julia: {7-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}/{j-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{5-Spades}/{a-Spades}

The hand was discovered with Tutu all-in and at-risk on fourth street versus Julia.

After all of the dust had settled, it was the nine-seven-five-trey-ace low held by Julia that bested the nine-seven-five-four-ace low held by Tutu, and Tutu was eliminated from the tournament.

"Unlucky bud," Racener told Szymaszek on the way out. According to Racener, Szymaszek had a pair of aces that didn't improve anymore.
