Darren Elias Eliminated in 12th Place ($51,866)

Level 15 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Darren Elias
Darren Elias

Michael Liang opened to 85,000 in the hijack and Darren Elias flat-called from the cutoff. Jonathan Jaffe was in the big blind and stuck in a three-bet to 390,000. Liang let his hand go but Elias shoved for around 1,200,000. Jaffe flicked in a chip to call and the cards were on their backs.

Darren Elias: {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}
Jonathan Jaffe: {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}

It was a coin flip but Jaffe took a big lead on the {j-Hearts}{10-Spades}{4-Clubs} flop. Elias was left drawing to a straight but the {4-Hearts} paired the board on the turn and Elias was drawing dead to the {5-Clubs} on the river.
