Berman Eliminated by Becker

Level 7 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Bradley Berman
Bradley Berman

No-Limit 2-7 Single Draw

Bradley Berman raised to 6,000 and then called all-in with his short stack when Johannes Becker jammed. Becker patted and Berman took two to get shown the {10-}{6-}{4-}{3-}{2-} by Becker.

"I still have outs," Berman said and rolled over {9-}{4-}{3-}. He peeled the {j-}{2-} and was eliminated.

Since two players had not shown up in time yet, Becker and Shaun Deeb were heads-up after the hand was over.

"I always wanted to play heads-up against you in the Poker Players Championship," Becker said to Deeb, who replied with a "and I am glad I am on your left."

Daniel Negreanu

No-Limit 2-7 Single Draw

Daniel Negreanu raised all-in for 120,000 and Daniel Weinman called for more than half of his stack. Scott Seiver asked for a count of Weinman's remaining chips before making the call.

Negreanu patted as Weinman and Seiver both drew one card. Weinman checked, Seiver followed and Negreanu revealed {9-Spades}{8-Clubs}{6-Spades}{5-Clubs}{3-Clubs} while both opponents mucked. Negreanu said "we're back in business" as he raked in the pot to triple his stack.

Leng Shows Deeb a Bluff

Level 7 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Ryan Leng
Ryan Leng

No-Limit Hold'em

Ryan Leng limped on the button and Robert Mizrachi completed from the small blind. Freddy Deeb then raised to 18,000 total from the big blind and only Leng called.

The flop came {2-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{j-Hearts} and Deeb continued for 22,000. Leng called.

The {q-Hearts} fell on the turn and Deeb checked to Leng, who fired 80,000 into the middle. Deeb called.

Deeb checked to Leng when the {9-Spades} completed the board and Leng announced he was all in, which was enough to put Deeb all in for his last 150,000.

Deeb decided to fold and Leng tabled {7-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} for a stone bluff as he dragged the pot.

Pot-Limit Omaha

Three ways on a {j-Spades}{q-Spades}{3-Clubs} flop with many thousand already in the middle, Randy Ohel checked from the small blind and Bryce Yockey bet 56,000 from the big. Robert Mizrachi called from the cutoff and Ohel folded.

Yockey checked to Mizrachi on the {6-Diamonds} turn, who announced a pot-sized bet for 168,000. Yockey called.

The {8-Spades} completed the board and Yockey announced he was all in, which was enough to put Mizrachi all in for his last 300,000.

Mizrachi folded after a lengthy tank and Yockey revealed the {9-Spades}{10-Spades} for a rivered straight flush as he collected the pot.

Daniel Weinman
Daniel Weinman

Stud Hi-Lo

A three-way pot found its way to showdown with Daniel Weinman all in against Timofey Kuznetsov and Daniel Negreanu.

Daniel Weinman: {x-}{x-} / {k-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}
Timofey Kuznetsov: {x-}{x-} / {q-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}
Daniel Negreanu: {x-}{x-} / {2-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{5-Diamonds}

Kuznetsov bet on fourth, fifth and sixth streets with Negreanu and Weinman calling down.

After Kuznetsov checked seventh street, Negreanu's bet was called by Weinman who only had 10,500 behind. A check-raise from Kuznetsov and re-raise from Negreanu put Weinman at risk after sliding in his last few chips. Kuznetsov called and showed {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}{7-Spades} to take the high pot, while Negreanu revealed {7-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{5-Hearts} to earn the low. Weinman mucked and was eliminated from the tournament.
