Fitzhugh Eliminates Opponent

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

The action was discovered on a flop of {a-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{9-Hearts} with Andrew Kelsall who faced a pot-sized bet from Scott Fitzhugh, with another opponent already all-in. After he tanked for a bit, Kelsall eventually opted to fold, and it was heads-up the rest of the way.

The hands were tabled and it was the {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{6-Spades} held by Fitzhugh that was in the lead against the {q-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{5-Clubs}.

The dealer placed the turn card {2-Diamonds} and that gave Fitzhugh's opponent a few more low outs.

The river card, however, was the {9-Diamonds} and that secured the win for Fitzhugh, which in-turn eliminated his opponent.
