Zhang Hits Runner Runner to Deplete Brodsky

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Mark Brodsky
Mark Brodsky

There was a preflop all in in progress as Eric Zhang was at risk holding the {8-Spades}{8-Clubs} vs the {q-Diamonds}{q-Spades} of Mark Brodsky.

The flop came {j-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{q-Hearts} to give Brodsky a set of queens and give him what appeared to be a stranglehold on the hand.

The turn was the {10-Hearts} to open up a gutshot for Zhang and the river was the {9-Diamonds} to hit that gutshot as the table reacted to the runner-runner bad beat for Brodksy to leave him short and keep Zhang alive.
