Takayama Takes Out Two

Level 20 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Pot Limit Omaha

Karan Mehta opened to 32,000 and was called by three players, including Tony Hartmann in the small blind. Mike Takayama in the big blind responded by three-betting to 150,000. Mehta went all-in for 450,000 and Tony Hartmann went all-in for 270,000 which Takayama called.

Tony Hartmann: {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{10-Spades}{2-Diamonds}
Karan Mehta: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}
Mike Takayama: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{9-Spades}{8-Spades}

The flop came out {q-Spades}{9-Hearts}{3-Spades} which gave Takayama a flush draw and Hartman a straight draw. The turn {k-Hearts} gave Hartmann the nut straight and gave Mehta a flush draw of his own. The river {7-Spades} gave Takayama the flush and with his stack covering the others, Mehta and Hartmann were eliminated from the tournament.
