Shaburo's River Bet Takes it

Level 17 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

Aleksei Shaburo called in the cutoff, Jordan Spurlin called on the button and Colten Yamagishi called from the small blind before the big blind checked his option.

The dealer spread a flop of {9-Spades}{6-Spades}{3-Clubs} and the action checked to Shaburo and he threw in a bet of 20,000. Only Yamagishi came along.

The {6-Clubs} hit the turn and it seemed neither player liked that card as it went check-check. The {5-Spades} was the river and Yamagishi checked to Shaburo who fired out a bet of 50,000. Yamagishi thought about it for a short period of time and said, "hard to give you credit for this one, but I will," as he tossed his cards into the muck.

Daniel Buzgon
Daniel Buzgon

No-Limit Hold'em

Robert Mizrachi raised in the cutoff to 13,000 and Daniel Buzgon shoved on the button for 46,000. The blinds quickly folded and Mizrachi thought about it for about a minute before finally making the call.

Daniel Buzgon: {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}
Robert Mizrachi: {a-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}

Buzgon was behind the ace-high of Mizrachi and the {j-Spades}{9-Spades}{8-Spades} flop was no help. The {4-Hearts} hit the turn changing nothing but the {k-Clubs} on the river gave Buzgon a pair of kings to remain seated in the tournament.
