Alex Livingston: {8-Hearts}{5-Spades}/{6-Spades}{2-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}/{j-Hearts}
Ahmed Mohamed: {6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}/{a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{6-Clubs}/{q-Hearts}

Alex Livingston pushed the last of his remaining chips into the pot on sixth street and was called by Ahmed Mohamed.

It was Mohamed ahead with trip sixes versus the at-risk Livingston who held two pairs of eights and deuces.

Mohamed filled up on seventh street, sixes full of queens, and that locked it up, which in-turn eliminated Livingston in 21st place for which he took home $16,340 in cash.

Alex Livingston: {a-Diamonds}{5-Spades}/{8-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{2-Spades}/{4-Hearts}
Ian O'Hara: {a-Spades}{5-Diamonds}/{a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{a-Hearts}/{6-Diamonds}

Yehuda Buchalter moved all-in on fourth street and was called by Alex Livingston and Ian O'Hara.

Fifth, sixth, and seventh street saw O'Hara fire out a big bet on all three streets, and Livingston made the calls.

All hands were then tabled due to the all-in and it was the trip aces held by O'Hara for the high half, and Livingston took down the low half with an eight-seven low, and Buchalter was eliminated from the tournament on the true bubble.

The remaining 22 players are each in the money and will rake home a minimum of $16,340 in cash.

Sean Yu: {j-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}/{3-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{7-Spades}/{2-Spades}
Marco Johnson: {6-Spades}{6-Diamonds}/{5-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{q-Spades}{5-Spades}/{8-Spades}
Yehuda Buchalter: {6-Clubs}{5-Hearts}/{a-Spades}{4-Clubs}{10-Spades}{7-Diamonds}/{2-Clubs}

Sean Yu bet all in on sixth street and was called by Buchalter and Johnson.

The two callers checked it down on seventh street and all hands were tabled.

After all the dust had settled it was the two pairs, sixes and fives, held by Johnson that was awarded the high half of the pot, while Buchalter's six-perfect low took down the other half.

With this hand, Yu was eliminated from the tournament.

Ashly Butler: {x-}{x-}/{a-Spades}{8-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}/{x-}
Daniel Tafur: {x-}{x-}/{a-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}/{x-}
Sean Yu: {x-}{x-}/{5-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}/{x-}

Ashly Butler and Daniel Tafur called the bring-in and Sean Yu raised for his remaining chips. Both Butler and Tafur called.

Butler called a bet from Tafur on fourth and then both players proceeded to check down.

Yu revealed {j-Clubs}{7-Spades}{6-Spades} for trip sevens, which was good against the {k-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{2-Clubs} of Tafur. Butler mucked and Yu tripled up.

Jack Effel, Vice President of the World Series of Poker, was swinging through the Amazon Room when he noticed something unique in Event #73: $10,000 Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo 8 or Better event.

In what is believed to be a first in a WSOP championship event, table #429 in the Amazon Tan section has exactly four men and four women battling it out in this championship hi-lo stud contest.

Maria Ho, Patricia Crivello, Esther Taylor, and Pamela Romito occupy seats 1,2,3, and 4, respectively, at table 429, while seats 5,6,7, and 8 are held by Matt Vengrin, Ahmed Mohamed, Frankie O'Dell, and Randy Ohel.

Katz Chops Up a Big One with Monnette His Very First Hand

Level 11
Cary Katz
Cary Katz

Cary Katz: {7-Hearts}{6-Spades}/{4-Hearts}{3-Spades}{5-Hearts}{8-Spades}/{3-Clubs}
John Monnette: {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}/{k-Clubs}{7-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}/{3-Hearts}
Denis Strebkov: {8-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}/{j-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}/{x-}/Mucked

Both Cary Katz and John Monnette were all-in on fifth street.

It was Katz with the five-card straight that was in the lead versus the rolled-up kings held by Monnette and the draws held by Strebkov.

Sixth street changed everything as Monnette filled up with full of queens, which locked up the high hand, while Katz secured the low half of the pot.

The meaningless seventh street was pitched face-down and Katz survived his all-in on his very first hand of play with a near double-up.
