Day 2 of Event #75: $1,500 No-Limit Hold’em Freezout Begins At 12 p.m.

Out of the 1,191 entrants in Event #75: $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em Freezeout, only 118 players will return to the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino at 12 p.m. all of whom are guaranteed a cash of at least $2,634. All of them will be battling it out for a WSOP bracelet as well as the first-place prize of $270,877.

It was Rennei Liu who bagged up the largest stack on Day 1 with 889,000 chips, followed by Bin Liu with 610,000. Closely behind them are four-time bracelet winner Asi Moshe with 604,000 and three-time bracelet winner David “The Dragon,” Pham with 572,000 chips. Both Moshe and Pham are looking to join the list of the previous bracelet winners winning another bracelet this year.

Many other notables found their way to a bag at the end of Day 1, including Joe Serock (436,000), Mike Watson (266,000),Joao Vieira (252,000), Ori Hasson (241,000), Patrick Tardif (234,000) and John Gorsuch (44,000).

The day will start at Level 18 with blinds at 5,000/10,000 and a 10,000 big blind ante. The structure has shifted from 40-minute levels to 60-minute levels with 15-minute breaks after every two levels and a 60-minute dinner break after Level 23. Play is scheduled to last ten levels with any remaining players after this point returning on November 17.
