There was three-way all in action preflop between Cord Garcia from the cutoff, Michael Moncek from the button and the big blind with Garcia having both players well covered.

Garcia was ahead with his made hand of fours but the flop put Moncek in the lead with top pair.
Unfortunately for Moncek, the victory didn't last long as the turn followed by the river gave Garcia the six-high straight to collect two bounties.

Negreanu Sends Rocha His Bounty
Daniel Negreanu was all in preflop for around 35,000 and up against Alex Rocha.
Daniel Negreanu:

"That's bad for me," Negreanu said. He fell further behind when Rocha hit a queen on the flop. Negreanu picked up a straight draw on the turn but bricked the river.
"That's the end for me," Negreanu said, tossing his bounty chip over to Rocha.
"I'm going to keep this one. I might not cash it," Rocha said as Negreanu made his exit.

Vieira Doesn't Believe Eychenne, Loses Bounty
There was heads-up action between Thomas Eychenne from the hijack and Joao Vieira from the big blind with a completed board of showing.
Vieira Checked his option to Eychenne who fired out a pot sized 50,000 bet. The bet sent Vieira into the tank as it would put him all in and after a few minutes in the tank, he called-off his 30,000 stack.
Eychenne quickly rolled over for aces full and Vieira tossed into the muck.

Garza's Ladies Take Weissman's Bounty
There was three-way action between the player under the gun, Joey Weissman from the small blind and Lou Garza from the big blind with Weissman's 20k stack at risk.
The board was checked down to the river where Garza isolated with an uncontested 9,000 bet and the two players went to showdown.
Weissman rolled over for tens and sixes but it was no good as Garza held a better for queens and sixes to collect his bounty.

Gutierrez Loses Race and Coughs Up Bounty Fleyshman
A series of preflop raises saw Elias Gutierrez get roughly a starting stack in the middle from late position and Dan Fleyshman called from under the gun.

Blinds will increase every 20 minutes in this fast structure. The starting stack of 60,000 chips will be worth 10 big blinds after just five hours of play. The plan for today is to whittle down the initial field to the five final players who will return tomorrow to play down to a champion.
The $10,000 buy-in ensures this event will feature a steady flux of high-profile players. In 2019, Brian Green outlasted 204 players to win this tournament, defeating Ali Imsirovic heads-up for $345,669. That final table also included Asher Conniff, Loren Klein, Daniel Negreanu, and Cary Katz.
In 2018, the first year this event was featured on the schedule, Elio Fox won his second WSOP bracelet over a stacked final table including Paul Volpe, Alex Foxen, and Joe Cada. The previous Super Turbo Bounty events at the 2021 WSOP were won by Michael Perrone and Karolis Sereika, with Pierre Calamusa making the final table of both events.
