The 2022 Online World Series of Poker is back with some high stakes action today as Event #10: $2,500 No-Limit Hold'em Freezeout gets underway at 4 p.m. Pacific Standard Time (or 8 p.m. Eastern Standard Time for New Jersey residents). Players will start with 25,000 in chips and blinds will increase every 20 minutes.
This is a freezeout event so players will have only one shot at making a deep run and will not be able to rebuy once eliminated. Late registration will be open for four hours of play.
This is the tenth of 33 bracelet events being held on WSOP.com (33 events) and GG Poker (holding the remaining 33 events).

The flop came , Afanasenka checked and Merson continued for 255. Afanasenka elected on a check-raise to 665 and Merson came along.
On the turn Afanasenka kept up the aggression with a bet of 1,020 and without much thought, Merson raised to 3,740. Afanasenka went into the tank but eventually let his hand go and the chips were sent to the 2012 Main Event Champion.

The action folded to Desmond "Deezz_Nutzz" Haynes who opened in the cutoff for 300 and both Darren "darrenelias" Elias and John "Relevancy" Ripnick made the call in the blinds.
The flop came , Elias and Ripnick check to Haynes who continued for 660. Elias quickly folded and Ripnick came along.
The hit the turn and Ripnick check-called a bet of 1,470 from Haynes. On the river both players checked to a showdown. Ripnick rolled over and Haynes revealed for a rivered pair of nines and the winning hand.

The flop came , Porbandarwala checked and Obinger continued for 508, which only Pahuja called.
On the turn Obinger kept up the aggression with a bet of 1,762 and Pahuja called again. The completed the board and both players checked their options to a showdown. Obinger rolled over for top pair and enough to scoop the pot when Pahuja's hand hit the muck.
