Kihara Chips Up; Gorodinsky Loses Some

Level 4
Naoya Kihara
Naoya Kihara

Jerry Wong put a dent into the bigger stack of Mike Gorodinsky when he chipped up without showdown. After all draws in a Pot-Limit 2-7 Triple Draw were completed, Gorodinsky checked from under the gun. Wong bet 10,000 into a pot of nearly 39,000 while on the button and that sent Gorodinsky into a brief tank, after which he folded.

"The only limit is pot," Wong joked as he raked in the pot while Gorodinsky mentioned that he made a big laydown without disclosing his cards.

Naoya Kihara was one of the bigger stacks early on and chipped back up some now. In a Big O hand with no low possible, Kihara's {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{7-Spades} had flopped two pair and turned a full house, nines full of sevens with a potential hearts flush out there. John Monnette paid off the bet of Kihara and mucked.
