Pupillo Flipped Out by Vieira

Level 11

No-Limit Hold'em

The field has been reduced to the final nine tables and no longer in contention are Matt Glantz and Nick Pupillo, both of whom entered before the start of level 11.

Pupillo's final hand came in a no limit hold'em confrontation when he was all in before the flop with {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs} against the {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts} of chip leader Joao Vieira. The board ran out {8-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} and the pocket pair remained ahead all the way.

Brunner Next Early Casualty on Day 2

Level 11

Pot-Limit Omaha

A short-stacked Brian Brunner was all-in with the {a-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} against the {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{10-Spades}{4-Spades} of Jeff Madsen. Brunner freerolled after the {10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} flop but had to settle for a chop after the {8-Hearts} turn and {8-Spades} river.

However, during one of the next hands, he was not as fortunate and the final chips were pushed over to Paul Volpe as Brunner quickly headed out of the tournament area.

Barlow Eliminated by Johnson

Level 11

5-Card Draw High

Todd Barlow was all in once more with his short stack and looked up by Marco Johnson. He discarded two cards while Johnson took one and they exposed their cards.

Todd Barlow: {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}
Marco Johnson: {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}

Barlow received no help with the {3-Clubs}{a-Diamonds} and Johnson received the cherry on top as the {9-Diamonds} improved his hand to a full house, which Barlow took with a smile.

On the final draw already, Nick Schulman patted while Jake Schwartz and Shaun Deeb took one card each. Schulman then bet and Schwartz called while Deeb folded.
