Wien Sniffs Out the Bluff For Huge Double

Level 12 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

With 18,000 in the middle on the {6-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{2-Spades} flop, Jeremy Wien bet 7,100 and was called by a big stack on the button.

The turn brought the {4-Spades}, Wien continued for another 12,500 and the button called.

On the river {a-Hearts}, Wien put out another 16,500 before his opponent cut out a stack large enough to put Wien all in.

Wien looked tortured by the decision as he thought it over, but he eventually settled on a call. The button turned over {9-Hearts}{8-Hearts} nine-high and Wien turned over his winning {a-Spades}{q-Spades} pair of aces in relief as he dragged a big pot.
