Aielli Gets Help From the Ladies

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

On a heads- up flop of {6-Clubs}{10-Spades}{q-Diamonds}, Roger Aielli in middle position bet 65,000 into an already bloated pot. His opponent in late position went into the tank for a few moments. After confirming the amount of the bet he was facing with the dealer, the late position player announced that he was all in.

Aielli quickly threw in a calling chip, putting himself at risk, and the cards were tabled.

Aielli showed {q-Clubs}{q-Hearts} for top set and his opponent showed {q-Spades}{8-Spades} for top pair.

The turn {3-Hearts} left his opponent drawing dead and the {j-Hearts} river sealed Aielli's victory and he was awarded the pot for a big double up.

Lenny Gerritz's Overbet Flop Jam with Aces Pays Off

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

The under-the-gun player opened to 12,000 and Lenny Gerritz three-bet to 30,000. The pre-flop aggressor called.

The flop came {8-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{6-Hearts}. It was checked to Gerritz who elected to overbet jam for roughly 140,000 effective. After some deliberation, his opponent made the call.

Opponent: {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}
Gerritz: {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}

Needing to dodge hearts, Gerritz was forced to sweat for well over half his stack. The {7-Diamonds} came on the turn and the river was the {3-Diamonds} to give Gerritz a massive 390,000 chip stack.

Jimmy D'Ambrosio raised to 10,000 and found a caller in the small blind.

"I'm gonna bluff now you guys are here," said D'Ambrosio to PokerNews.

The flop came {a-Clubs}{10-Spades}{9-Spades} and the small blind check-called 13,000.

On the turn {4-Spades} the small blind led with an all-in and D'Ambrosio let it go. He showed his {a-Hearts}{q-Spades} and goated his opponent into showing {j-Spades}{9-Spades} for a flush.

Chad Holloway was all in and at risk preflop for about his last 25,000.

Chad Holloway: {5-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}
Opponent: {k-Hearts}{j-Clubs}

"Do you need help," asked Alex Outhred from a neighboring table.

"No, I'm ahead," said Holloway.

The flop came down {10-Clubs}{k-Spades}{9-Spades} to leave Holloway drawing thin.

"Now I need a five," Holloway said to Outhred.

And just like that the {5-Hearts} banged on the turn to give Holloway a set. The river was a blank and Holloway doubled.
