Level 19 : 75,000/150,000, 150,000 ante

Michael Rocco limped in the cutoff, Brek Schutten raised to 475,000 on the button, David Peters called in the big blind, and Rocco called.

The trio checked to the river on the {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{9-Spades}{5-Hearts} board, where Peters checked, Rocco bet 975,000, Schutten called, and Peters folded.

Dario Sammartino
Dario Sammartino

Dario Sammartino raised to 700,000 under the gun, leaving himself only 50,000 behind, and David Peters called in the hijack.

The flop came {8-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} and Sammartino's remaining 50,000 went into the middle.

Dario Sammartino: {a-Spades}{2-Hearts}
David Peters: {a-Clubs}{j-Spades}

The {5-Diamonds} turn gave the Italian gutshot outs, but the {8-Spades} river bricked out to send him to the payout desk in eighth place.

Shorr Cracks Kings to Stay Alive

Level 19 : 75,000/150,000, 150,000 ante

The action folded around to Shannon Shorr in the small blind who moved all in for 1,375,000. Andrew Lichtenberger looked down at his cards in the big blind and instantly called with a laugh.

Shannon Shorr: {10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}
Andrew Lichtenberger: {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}

The flop came {q-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{4-Spades} to give Shorr a straight draw but Lichtenberger held a couple of his outs. That didn't matter as the {8-Diamonds} rolled off on the turn which left Lichtenberger drawing dead to the {5-Hearts} on the river.

Sean Winter raised it up to 675,000 from middle position. Brek Schutten was in the big blind and announced all in, which was met by a snap-called from Winter for his stack of around 1,000,000.

Sean Winter: {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}
Brek Schutten: {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}

The two players were off to the races and the flop of {a-Spades}{10-Spades}{6-Diamonds} favored Schutten. The {2-Diamonds} on the turn and the {k-Spades} on the river was not the bink Winter was looking for, as he headed to the payout desk.

Level 18 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Sean Winter raised to 265,000 in middle position and was called by Michael Rocco on the button. The two players saw a flop of {k-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{6-Clubs} and they both checked to the {k-Clubs} on the turn.

Winter checked again and Rocco checked it back. The {4-Clubs} landed on the river and Winter finally tossed in a bet of 415,000. Rocco quickly called and Winter showed {10-Spades}{10-Hearts} for two pair. Rocco tabled {j-Clubs}{10-Clubs} for a flush and scooped the pot.
