Lynn Loses Flip to be Eliminated

Level 21 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante

Peter Lynn got his last 31,000 in before the flop and it was Steven Wolansky putting him at risk.

Peter Lynn: {a-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}
Steven Wolansky: {5-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}

It was a classic race as the board ran out {j-Spades}{3-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{2-Clubs} and Lynn couldn't get there as he was sent to the payout desk.

Garzon Crushing Pupillo

Level 21 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante

Francisco Garzon and Nick Pupillo saw a flop of {5-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}. Garzon put out a bet, then called when Pupillo raised.

Garzon bet the {3-Hearts} turn and the {7-Diamonds} river, with Pupillo calling him down. Garzon showed {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} for the nut flush to win the pot.

While Garzon was still stacking his chips from that pot, he and Pupillo tangled again. Pupillo bet on a flop of {7-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{2-Hearts} and Garzon called.

Garzon called another bet on the {8-Hearts} turn before leading out himself on the {q-Spades} river. Pupillo called but mucked when Garzon showed {q-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} for runner-runner two pair. Tablemate Dennis Kim let out a laugh as Garzon continued his steamroll of this table.

Tobin Leaves Campbell on Life Support, Lipner Takes the Rest

Level 22 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante
Robert Campbell
Robert Campbell

On the first hand back from dinner break, Robert Campbell raised from early position and Dave Tobin, in middle position, called.

Campbell bet on the {9-Spades}{3-Clubs}{8-Spades} flop and Tobin called to the {4-Hearts} turn. Tobin called another bet, then both players checked the {2-Clubs} river.

"I missed everything," Tobin said, showing {a-Spades}{10-Spades}, but he was still ahead of the {q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} of Campbell.

Left with just 40,000, Campbell moved all in the next hand and was called by Michael Lipner.

Robert Campbell: {a-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}
Michael Lipner: {a-Clubs}{j-Spades}

Campbell got some newfound hope when the window card came the {8-Spades}, but it was followed by the {j-Hearts}{q-Spades} to give Lipner a pair of jacks. The board ran out {k-Spades}{a-Spades} and Lipner won the pot to eliminate Campbell.

Garzon Misses Straight Draw; Makes Trips

Level 22 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante

Roy Sanam raised in the hijack and Francisco Garzon called in the big blind.

When the flop came {j-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}, Garzon led out with a bet and Sanam called.

The {4-Clubs} turn was checked by both players to see the {4-Spades} on the river. Garzon fired out a bet which was called by Sanam. Garzon tabled {7-Hearts}{4-Hearts} for a busted open-ended straight draw that ran out trip fours and Sanam mucked his hand.

Jack on the River Good for West

Level 22 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante

Timothy West raised in early position and Wendy Freedman came along in the big blind.

The dealer spread a flop of {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} and Freedman check-called a continuation bet from West.

The {5-Spades} on the turn was quickly checked through to the {j-Diamonds} river. Freedman slid a bet across the line and West took about eight-seconds before making the call.

"10," Said Freedman.

West rolled his hand over with speed as he tabled {q-Spades}{j-Spades}. "Thought I'd nit roll you a bit on the river," West joked.

Garzon Keeps Climbing, Busts Watson

Level 22 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante

Russell Watson bet on the turn with the board showing {9-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{10-Spades}{6-Spades} and chip leader Francisco Garzon called.

The river was the {9-Spades} and Watson put the rest of his chips in the middle. Garzon quickly called and showed {5-Spades}{4-Spades} for a flush. Watson took a long look at the board before letting out a loud groan as he made his way to the payout desk.

Woodward Getting Short

Level 22 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante
Matthew Woodward
Matthew Woodward

Matthew Woodward raised under the gun and Michael Lipner three-bet from a couple of spots to his left. The action folded back around to Woodward and he made the call.

The flop came {j-Spades}{3-Hearts}{3-Spades} and Woodward check-called a bet from Lipner.

The {2-Diamonds} turn and {8-Clubs} saw no more bets and Woodward tabled {a-Hearts}{q-Spades} before seeing he was out-kicked by Lipner's {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}.
